Hooked & Need
Jesus Is The Answer!
Society says “once an addict, always an addict”, but Jesus says “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.”
ONE DAY I’M GOING TO CHANGE
That was my desperate cry as I laid in my cell while going through the hard struggles of crack addiction. 13 years living as a drug addict my life, hit rock bottom, Lost in the streets of Ft. Worth, Texas, living a life of misery and hopelessness of crime and drugs the streets became my best friend. I begin to rob, steal and cheat to support my habit I hurt the very people who loved me the most. I thought I was going to die a drug addict because “A CURED DRUG ADDICT WAS UNHEARD, OF TO ME”. Walking down the street one night, broke and busted, going through terrible withdrawals, I had the intentions of robbing a local drug house. While on my way, suddenly I had a change of mind and did a complete 360 turn around. “Man, I’m going to get me some help,” is what I told myself.
After many failed attempts to try to change through hospitals, rehabs, and institutions, my last resort was when my family walked me through the doors of the Victory Home. During an evening chapel service, they told me that Jesus Christ can change my life, and set me free, and Jesus has, a Plan for my life. Jeremiah 29:11. I walked to the alter that night and fell to my knees and invited Jesus Christ into my life. Since then my life has been completely changed with a desire to reach men and women with the preaching of the gospel. If you, are tired I invite you to say this prayer. “Lord Jesus Christ I recognize that I am a sinner and repent of my sins and believe that you are Son of God that came to die for the forgiveness of my sins on the cross, enter my heart and change my life because am tired.” If you’ve said this prayer, the Bible says you have received salvation. Begin to read the Bible and congregate in a church that preaches the gospel.
